Business Development Manager

Job summary:

  • Initially this position will be responsible for building new business through identifying growth opportunities; mapping accounts and building KOL support for new indications
  • The Area Sales Manager will deliver, communicate and support marketing strategies that ensure the short, medium and long-term success of the Business Unit
  • Once a solid base has been established the role will require the successful candidate to recruit; motivate and inspire a team of product specialists to maximise contribution and performance

Desired minimum knowledge and experience:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Fluent in English
  • At least 5 years experience of selling within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Demonstrate success tender management
  • Proven ability to develop new business opportunities
  • Excellent people skills
  • Strong written and presentation skills
  • Demonstrate successful management experience
  • Ability to manage positively upwards and downwards
  • Proven ability to perform under pressure and remain positive and motivated
