Job summary:
- Initially
this position will be responsible for building new business through
identifying growth opportunities; mapping accounts and building KOL
support for new indications
- The
Area Sales Manager will deliver, communicate and support marketing
strategies that ensure the short, medium and long-term success of the
Business Unit
- Once a solid base
has been established the role will require the successful candidate to
recruit; motivate and inspire a team of product specialists to maximise
contribution and performance
Desired minimum knowledge and experience:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
- Fluent in English
- At least 5 years experience of selling within the pharmaceutical industry
- Demonstrate success tender management
- Proven ability to develop new business opportunities
- Excellent people skills
- Strong written and presentation skills
- Demonstrate successful management experience
- Ability to manage positively upwards and downwards
- Proven ability to perform under pressure and remain positive and motivated
